Achievement Award winners have an early morning today with breakfast at 7 AM in IEC room 107-108. They will have fluffy biscuits topped with country gravy, served with scrambled eggs and roasted Yukon potatoes, coffee, hot tea, orange juice and bakery basket with butter. The snack bar will be open again at 7:30 AM for your breakfast needs, and the mid-morning break will include breakfast breads. Our afternoon break will feature brownies. The Illinois Extension Agriculture Association and the Missouri Ag Extension Professionals are sponsoring the snack bar, Wisconsin Association of County Agricultural Agents is sponsoring the morning break, and Nebraska Extension Agents Association is sponsoring the afternoon break.

Tuesday’s luncheons feature a barbeque buffet with barbecue shredded pork, smoked pulled barbecue chicken, iceberg lettuce with blue cheese, bacon and tomato served with bacon buttermilk ranch and Balsamic vinaigrette dressings, cranberry apple coleslaw, buttered corn with peppers and onions, brown sugar baked beans, kaiser rolls, corn bread and Iowa’s own Rice Krispie treat.

Enjoy your night at the Iowa State Fair thanks to the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation! If you registered to attend the fair, you should have 25 $1 meal vouchers in your envelope. These are good at most of the food stands at the fair. If you want to see the newest, just released fair foods can be found online!

If you informed us of any special dietary restrictions through registration, you should have a small green card in your registration packet. Show this card to the wait staff during each meal and they can get you what you need.
