Author Bio: Kevin Kruse is a Senior Project Manager and Water Resources Engineer with JEO Consulting Group. With over 25 years of experience, he’s led numerous large-scale stormwater and flood risk reduction projects, including urban watershed master plans, levee improvements, and FEMA-funded hazard mitigation work.

Outside of engineering, Kevin enjoys fishing, cycling — including participating in RAGBRAI — and keeping up with his two sons’ busy hockey schedules.
