The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services will be offering a virtual training series titled Problem Gambling Webinar Series: Transforming the Field of Problem Gambling from Prevention through Recovery.

This month-long series will highlight national leaders who will share innovative approaches to addressing problem gambling prevention, treatment, and recovery. Participants will experience new insights into how youth may be impacted by problem gambling, common language and terminology used in the field of problem gambling, and how financial literacy can support persons on their recovery journey.

While these trainings are complimentary, registration is required. We strongly recommend registering at least 3 business days prior to the webinar to receive full details in advance. Please note, registering later than recommended may mean you will not receive your log-in instructions until the morning of the training session.

The Problem Gambling Webinar Series: Transforming the Field of Problem Gambling from Prevention through Recovery will complement statewide Problem Gambling Awareness Month efforts that will take place in March.
