A screening of the “Cities of the Future” film will be held at the FilmScene Theater in Iowa City. “Cities of the Future” is a vision of life in an ultramodern city that showcases the principles and plans for buildings, transportation systems and renewable energy in a future setting. The film also features five young ASCE members as they work to solve the world’s most pressing challenges along with a team of middle school students as they compete in a Future City Competition. The film will be shown at 8 pm and has an approximate run time of 40 minutes. The theater will be open for the screening at 7:30 pm. A brief question and answer session will be held after the screening. FilmScene is located on the Ped Mall, 118 East College Street, Suite 101, Iowa City, Iowa 52240. Shotgun Start at 8 am. The tournament will be a four (4) person best shot tournament. The cost is $75 per person which includes range balls, green fees, cart, two complimentary drinks (beer or soft drinks), and a bagged lunch.
