The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) will be offering a virtual training series titled Problem Gambling Webinar Series: Approaching Problem Gambling Through a Continuum of Care.

This month-long series will highlight national leaders who will share innovative approaches to addressing prevention and treatment of problem gambling and related responsible gambling efforts. Participants will experience new insights into the current landscape of sports betting, explore the concept of shared responsibility as applied to the prevention of problem gambling, identify ways to implement responsible gambling efforts that serve the collegiate population, and learn how to establish organizational structures that support responsible gambling services.

While these trainings are complimentary, registration is required. We strongly recommend registering at least 3 business days prior to the webinar to receive full details in advance. Please note, registering later than recommended may mean you will not receive your log-in instructions until the morning of the training session.

Problem Gambling Webinar Series: Approaching Problem Gambling Through a Continuum of Care will complement statewide Problem Gambling Awareness Month efforts that will take place in March.
