It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2025 Iowa Suicide Prevention Coalitions Summit:  Life After a Suicide Loss: A Community Response.  This one-day event will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the FFA Enrichment Center on the Des Moines Area Community College campus in Ankeny, Iowa and is presented by the Iowa Suicide Prevention Planning Committee, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and several community sponsors highlighted on the summit website.

This year’s summit features a theme of suicide postvention and the importance of suicide loss support as a critical prevention strategy.  The day will include keynote speakers and opportunities for our community coalitions to share their own best practices.
