About IPS

The Iowa Physiological Society (IPS) is the state chapter of the American Physiological Society (APS). Our mission is to connect and strengthen the community of physiologists across Iowa—spanning molecular, cellular, organ, and whole-body research—while advancing excellence in teaching, scholarship, and scientific exchange.

IPS fosters collaboration among scientists, clinicians, and educators, and provides valuable opportunities for trainees to showcase their work and engage with peers.

Registration & Abstract Submission

Please submit your abstract and indicate if you would like to be considered for a lightning talk. Abstracts for talk consideration are due November 6, 2025. All abstracts will be considered for a poster; poster-only submissions close November 27, 2025. Conference registration closes on November 27th.
