The Critical Materials Innovation (CMI) Hub will host the 2024 CMI Annual Meeting from Wednesday, September 11 to Friday, September 13 in Ames, Iowa, at the Scheman Building at Iowa State University. The meeting will include plenary talks, project poster sessions, and technical discussions.

The meeting is open to CMI Team Members and Affiliates. Team Members should travel to Ames on Tuesday, September 10 for meetings early on Wednesday. Affiliates are invited to join the meeting for the poster session on Wednesday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. and are encouraged to stay for the rest of the meeting. A full agenda will be posted below as soon as it becomes available.

Schedule

• Day 1 (Wed., Sept. 11) Team Members: Check in at 7 a.m., meetings begin at 8 a.m. Affiliate Members: Join us for the poster session and hors-d’oeuvres reception, featuring Developing Substitutes and Crosscutting Research, from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
• Day 2 (Thurs., Sept. 12) Team and Affiliate Members: Plenary talks all day. Poster Session and hors-d’oeuvres reception, featuring Enhancing and Diversifying Supply and Building a Circular Economy from 2:30 – 5 p.m.
• Day 3 (Fri., Sept. 13) Team and Affiliate Members: Plenary talks in the morning, with plans to adjourn at 11:30 a.m. Boxed lunches available for everyone, with optional tours at the Ames National Laboratory from 12:30 – 3 p.m.
