Advanced Trauma Life Support Refresher – The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. EMS CEH are provided through Iowa HHS Bureau of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services. Reference the session descriptions section of the brochure to identify number and type of EMS continuing education hours assigned to each session. Most sessions offer 1.0 CEH per hour of classroom instruction.
Physician and Nurse CE credit provided by the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, excepting ATLS and ABLS pre-conference training. Reference continuing education information provided with each session description.
