Continuing Education

Continuing Medical Education (CME) provided through the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, except ATLS and ABLS pre-conference training. Nursing Continuing Education (CE) provided through the Iowa Hospital Association, except Rural TOPIC pre-conference training. Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education Units (CEU) provided through the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services. All continuing education is contingent upon the completion of each respective discipline’s requirements including registrant information, course completion, and submission of evaluations.

CME ACCREDITATION: The American Burn Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CREDIT DESIGNATION: The American Burn Association designates this educational activity for 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Advanced Trauma Life Support Refresher

Nursing CE

Up to 7.0 Nursing Contact Hours will be awarded for September 8th and up to 6.0 Nursing Contact Hours will be awarded on September 9th for this conference by IHA Iowa Board of Nursing provider #4. Iowa Nursing Contact Hours will not be issued unless your Iowa license number is provided on the certificate completed the day of the conference. All attendees must attend the conference in full, no partial credit will be awarded except in the case of an extreme emergency.
