Knowledge Transfer Trainings

This series is only open to PIPBHC grantees, and registration is required.

The purpose of the regional Knowledge Transfer Training is to educate community service providers on processes and treatment interventions in the substance use disorder and primary healthcare fields. The co-morbidity of substance use disorder and chronic physical health conditions results in significant need for increased integrated approaches to these healthcare fields.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify treatment interventions for a person with substance use disorder(s).
  2. Identify primary healthcare interventions for a person with chronic physical health conditions.
  3. Identify strategies for the integration of healthcare practices.
