Mae McCarty

Mae McCarty has served as a human science specialist for EFNEP and SNAP-ed programming at Iowa State University since 2019. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and bachelor’s degree in biology and Africana Studies from Augustana College. Mae has helped with various trainings and projects for EFNEP and SNAP-ed programming including co-organizing a Gender and Sexuality Diversity training, helping create a sustainable wellness initiative, and helping design a Diversity Toolkit for staff to explore diversity and inclusion practices to improve program reach in the community.
