Scaling Wetland Adoption Across Iowa

Description: In an effort to increase delivery of nutrient removal wetlands across the state, Bolton & Menk has partnered with ten counties throughout northern and central Iowa and IDALS to identify potential wetland sites and contact landowners. The goal is to find as many willing landowners as possible and increase the adoption rate on program sign up through large group presentations and individual contact. These efforts have led to an adoption rate of nearly 1 in every 4 possible wetland sites and directly contributing to the construction and implementation of more nutrient removal wetlands.
