Permission to Play: Developing a Plan for a River Corridor within a Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan
Description: This presentation explores how a DNR‑funded watershed plan reframed a river’s riparian corridor through the lens of functional, nature‑based solutions. By developing a standalone riparian plan, a new watershed management organization created a practical framework to increase flood resilience, water quality protection, habitat, and recreation benefits.
