National Weather Service Flood Inundation Mapping Services
Description: To improve flood warning communication and help people prepare for, mitigate, and respond to flooding, the National Weather Service (NWS) is adding experimental flood inundation mapping services to its suite of forecast products. These new services provide near-real-time, high-resolution visualizations showing where, when, and how much flood waters are forecast.
