Evaluating Wildlife Responses to Water Quality Conservation Practices in Working Landscapes in Iowa

Description: Preliminary results from two years of monitoring suggest nutrient treatment wetlands in Iowa may support amphibian and reptile conservation while improving water quality. Using active sampling and acoustic monitoring, we found community composition varied with wetland structure and vegetation, highlighting the potential for integrated strategies in working agricultural landscapes.
