Author Bio: Dan Fricke is a Senior Project Manager in Water Resources at JEO Consulting Group, with over 20 years of experience helping communities manage stormwater and reduce flood risk. His work includes levee planning and design as well as regulatory coordination, and he’s especially focused on making floodplain planning approachable through strong outreach and communication.

Dan enjoys trying new beers, connecting with people at conferences, and is known to quietly steeple his fingers and say “Eeeexcellent” when a big idea clicks — especially when there can be multiple positive outcomes for communities.
