Prevention with Selective and Indicated Populations in the Years Ahead
Thursday, December 8, 2022; 10:00-11:00am
60-minute webinar
No fee to attend.
Objective:
This training makes the case that one size does not fit all for the provision of prevention in the next decade. We will identify significant changes in the proportion of selective and indicated populations due to ongoing stressors, including the pandemic. The focus of this training will be providing prevention services across the lifespan and for specific populations with varying levels of risk.
Presenter:
Chuck Klevgaard is a nationally recognized expert in substance misuse prevention and public health, specializing in behavioral health supports. Drawing on his experience in working with under-resourced populations and prevention-focused partnerships, he builds the capacity of states, tribes, schools, communities, and cities to implement and adapt evidence-based substance misuse prevention and intervention strategies.
