LifeSkills Training for Elementary, Middle, and High School Curriculums
Training Description:
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS) is pleased to offer online LifeSkills training for IPN contractors in 2022.
Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) is an evidence-based substance abuse and violence prevention program that is uniquely designed to be flexible and interactive.
This is an asynchronous on-line course and participants will have seven days to complete the course. There are required modules, videos, reading, and message boards that participants must complete within the seven days. It is estimated there is 5-6 hours of work to complete for the entire session and all can be done at your leisure within the seven days. If the training is not completed within the seven days, the course is marked incomplete and credit is not earned. The training will open at 9am EST on December 13, 2022, and will close at 5pm EST on December 19, 2022. LifeSkills curriculum print materials will be provided to each registrant.
