IPN Regional Prevention Training
Join the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS) for the Fall 2022 Integrated Provider Network (IPN) Regional Meetings for Prevention. These meetings began in 2019, but were halted due to COVID-19. Iowa HHS is looking forward to revitalizing this opportunity by hosting three in-person trainings in November 2022.
The IPN Regional Meetings for Prevention bring together the IPN prevention workforce to receive updates, discuss grant expectations, and highlight project successes. In addition, this opportunity allows Prevention Specialists the ability to network with peers across Iowa.
This training is for all IPN funded Prevention Specialists providing direct services and prevention supervisors. Training will be held from 9:30 to 3:30 pm. Participants only need to select one training to attend. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required.
At least one person per contract is required to participate in person. Participation of other funded IPN prevention staff is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
*A hybrid option will be available to those who choose to join via Zoom. Iowa HHS will provide details one week before each meeting occurs.
No food or beverage will be served; however, participants are welcome to bring their own refreshments for the day. A lunch break will be provided and participants may choose to go off-site to purchase their own meal.
