Objective:
This webinar will provide an overview of environmental strategies as population-based interventions and how they differ from individual-focused prevention programs. We will highlight three categories of environmental strategies: communications, policies, and enforcement. Additionally, we will focus on the implementation of these strategies, including identifying key elements, how to track implementation, and monitor progress throughout implementation.

- Explain the importance of understanding and tracking key elements of environmental strategy implementation.
Presenter:
Chuck Klevgaard is a nationally recognized expert in substance misuse prevention and public health, specializing in behavioral health supports. Drawing on his experience in working with under-resourced populations and prevention-focused partnerships, he builds the capacity of states, tribes, schools, communities, and cities to implement and adapt evidence-based substance misuse prevention and intervention strategies.
