Leadership in Infection Prevention: What type of leader are you?

In including Leadership in the IP Competency Model APIC has placed this skill on par with technical skills like Quality Improvement, IPC Operations and Research. Like those technical skills Leadership is something novice through expert level IPs need to be effective in their professional roles. Developing your competency in Leadership takes knowledge, time and practice.

In this session attendees will learn how leadership is an integral part of infection prevention programs, examples of leadership styles and potential ways to advance your leadership skills.
