Common Infection Prevention and Control Deficiencies In Healthcare Settings
Vicki Worth started her health care career as a dietary aide in high school back in 1993. After high school, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Worth worked in Advertising for many years then returned to the long-term care health care industry where she worked as a CNA, LPN, RN, and DON. Worth gained extensive experience in both management and clinical positions in skilled, intermediate, and dementia specific care units. She joined the Department of Inspection & Appeals in 2014 as a long-term care surveyor conducting recertification and complaint surveys throughout Iowa. Worth promoted within DIA to the LTC Bureau Chief position in August 2020 where she oversees the surveyors who conduct the recertification and complaint surveys.
John Osborne started with the Health Facilities Division in September of 2014 as a Health Facilities Surveyor. He is currently a Program Coordinator for ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease), OPT/ST (Outpatient Rehabilitation Services), RHC (Rural Health Clinics) and ASC (Ambulatory Surgical Centers). After obtaining his Associate Degree in Nursing from Marshalltown Community College, John began his 30 year career in acute and ambulatory patient care.
