Elizabeth Thiele

Elizabeth Thiele, MPH, LTC-CIP, is an Infection Prevention Specialist with 5+ years of experience in Long-Term Care and Public Health. She leads the infection control program of two facilities with a combined 200 beds where she oversees outbreak response, antibiotic stewardship, staff education, and CMS compliance. She has successfully led multidisciplinary groups within her facilities to improve healthcare associated infections and reduction of antibiotic use, along with special circumstances including Legionella and Candida auris.
