Certified Crop Adviser
Iowa Certified Crop Advisers (CCA) can obtain 12 hours of continuing education credit. Workshops are listed by CCA credit category. Note that workshops in sessions C, D, J, and K are 0.5 credit.
Credit listings represent what has been applied for and requested from the CCA organization. Final credit offerings are subject to approval. Any changes will be noted in the conference materials at registration. ISU reserves the right to adjust credit offerings due to unavoidable agenda or speaker changes.
2024 Continuing Instructional Course for Commercial Pesticide Applicators
This Conference is approved by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship for recertification credit for calendar year 2024 in the following categories:
- 1A – Agricultural weed management
- 1B – Agricultural insect management
- 1C – Agricultural crop disease management
- 4 – Seed Treatment
Categories 1A, 1B, 1C
Attend the required topic workshop (N4) and one additional workshop for each category in which you wish to receive recertification.
Category 1A-Weeds – sessions H3, H5, I3, I5, J5, K5, L2, M2
Category 1B-Insects – sessions C4, D4, E4, F4, H3, H5, I3, I5, J4, K4
Category 1C-Crop Diseases – sessions A3, A5, B5, E1, E2, F1, G1, G4, H3, H5, I3, I5
There is a $45 fee for recertification in these three categories (combined, not individually). Recertification is not included in the conference registration fee.
Category 4
To receive recertification, applicators must attend the required topic workshop (M5) and also attend one pest management session related to seed treatment. Options are sessions A5, B5, E2, F1, H3, or I3.
