Stress Management for Helpers

Monica Goedken is the Violence Prevention Coordinator & the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) Program Director with the Iowa Department of Public Health. In this role, she collaborates with multi-sector organizations and community members to prevent sexual violence and improve community responses with those impacted by intimate partner violence and sexual violence. She is a trainer and technical assistance provider for organizations who wish to ensure their policies, protocols, and practices support survivors of IPV & SV.

Participants will engage in conversations about their hobbies and interests with others at the conference. The activity host will share data about how hobbies and interests are protective factors towards wellness/stress management.
