Resiliency and Self-Care

Session Description: Most behavioral health providers enter the field with the intent to help others and provide empathic care for people with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. Our work can be impacted by the continuing stress of the often-overwhelming needs of people and their families which may result in compassion fatigue. Learn ways to manage personal wellness, foster resiliency and self-care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to foster resiliency in yourself and others.
  • Understand the signs of when personal wellness needs to take priority.
  • Self-care in the work environments.
