PWLE (People With Lived Experience) in SSP/Harm Reduction Services and HIV/HCV Elimination Strategies
Nick Voyles is the executive director of Indiana Recovery Alliance. He is also the Hepatitis C liaison for Urban Survivors Union, and sits on the advisory board for the national viral hepatitis round table (NVHR). His experience with viral hepatitis and the barriers to care have made him a tireless advocate for viral hepatitis elimination.
The overwhelming amount of evidence and data points to people with lived experience as vital partners in making communities healthier and safer. A working partnership between people with lived experience and local health departments saves lives.
