Ashley Havenstrite, CPS
Tobacco Prevention Coordinator, Helping Services for Youth & Families
Ashley Havenstrite, CPS graduated from Upper Iowa University with a BA in Psychology & Human Services. In 2018, she began her prevention career with Helping Services for Youth & Families where she continues to serve as the Tobacco Prevention Coordinator.

Lisa Dursky, EdD in Educational Leadership, Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction
High School Principal, Howard-Winneshiek Community School District
Lisa Dursky is the Principal of Howard-Winneshiek High School, where she provides visionary leadership focused on academic achievement, student well-being, and staff collaboration. She partners with faculty to integrate employability skills into the curriculum, preparing students with real-world competencies. Lisa also strengthens community engagement through partnerships with families, businesses, and local organizations to enrich the student experience.

Christina McDonough, BA, CHES
Community Transformation Consultant, Scott County Health Department
Christina McDonough works at the Scott County Health Department in Iowa and has promoted healthy living through the Community Transformation Program since 2013. Each year, she helps workplaces and a rural community complete the evidence-based Community Health Assessment and Evaluation (CHANGE) Tool and implement policies and environmental changes to create a culture of wellness. Christina is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in Health Promotion and is a Certified Health Education Specialist and Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist.

Vianka Herrera, MPH
Community Tobacco Consultant, Scott County Health Department
Vianka Herrera is the Community Tobacco Consultant at the Scott County Health Department. In her role, she provides health education and support in schools, workplaces, and communities, assists with policy development, and promotes cessation resources. Her passion is working with youth and helping the community through engagements and events, providing them with resources that help to make a positive impact. Vianka earned a Master of Public Health Degree from St. Ambrose University.

Ricki Hall, CPS
Substance Abuse Prevention Mentoring Coordinator, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa
Ricki Hall is the Substance Abuse Prevention Mentoring Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Northern Iowa and began her prevention career in 2021. Over the years, she has worked on a variety of initiatives, including Tobacco Use Prevention and Control, State Opioid Response (SOR), and the Integrated Provider Network (IPN) grant. In her current role, she combines her background in prevention with the power of mentorship, helping guide mentors and mentees in ways that build resilience and serve as a strong protective factor against substance use.

Penny Seidenkranz, MA, ED
Prevention Specialist, Employee & Family Resources
Penny Seidenkranz is a Certified Prevention Specialist at Employee & Family Resources, where she serves as the Polk County Grant Coordinator for the PFS-PAM (Partnership for Success to Prevent Alcohol Misuse). In this capacity, Penny provides alcohol-related programming that promotes responsible alcohol consumption and responsible beverage service. Penny works with populations in the 45+ range and is a certified facilitator for the WISE program and a certified trainer for the TIPS program.
