Sponsorship
The Iowa Beef Center is excited to hosting the 2025 Feedlot Short Course on the Iowa State University campus in Ames, Iowa, on July 29 – 31. This program is designed to provide feedyard owners, employees, and consultants with practical and technical information for the real-world setting.
In the 6 years that the course has been offered with limited number of spots available each year, this course has reached 170 participants from 12 states and 3 countries representing 12.03 million head of cattle. While the program has evolved and adapted based on feedback from participants, industry changes, and recent research, the Feedlot Short Course continues to address three key components to improve production efficiency and enhancing cattle value:
i. Feedlot nutrition
ii. Cattle health and welfare
iii. General management
The Iowa Beef Center is continually looking for partnerships to extend programs to beef producers and invites interested companies and organizations to become sponsors of the event. In addition to the benefits listed below, symposium organizers can provide promotional resources for sponsors to share with customers to encourage them to attend.
Thank you for considering sponsorship of this one-of-a-kind event for Iowa cattlemen and beyond. For further sponsorship information, please contact Erika Lundy-Woolfolk, ISUEO beef extension specialist, at ellundy@iastate.edu or call (641) 745-5902.
