The 2021 Annual Drainage Research Forum will be held November 23rd from 9:00am to 3:45pm at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center in Ames, Iowa.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Iowa Nutrient Research Center, University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, South Dakota State University and the Iowa Soybean Association. The conference will highlight projects supported by the Iowa Nutrient Research Center.

The forum will consist of presentations of results and updates of drainage research projects from across the U.S. Additionally, the event will include sessions on a variety of drainage issues and research topics relevant to the upper Midwest and of interest to drainage stakeholders, including state and federal agency staff, county supervisors, crop consultants, academics, contractors, farmers and others.

Registration Information

When registering, you will have the option to select “in-person” or “virtually.”

If you choose to attend in-person, we look forward to seeing you on November 23rd at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center!

If you choose to attend virtually, a link to watch the conference via Zoom will be provided to you prior to the event.

Additionally, all attendees will receive an email including a password and a link to access the event recordings post-conference.

Registration Pricing:

In-Person before November 10: $85.00
In-Person on or after November 10: $95.00

Virtual before November 10: $60.00
Virtual on or after November 10: $75.00

Change in Plans?
If you can no longer attend the Drainage Research Forum, you may send a substitute. Please contact Registration Services at registrations@iastate.edu to make the substitution or to cancel your registration. If you cancel your registration on or before November 5th, 2021 you are eligible for a full refund less a processing fee of $15. For cancellations made on or before November 12th, you’ll be reimbursed 50% of your registration fee. No refunds after November 17th, 2021.

Beginning November 16th, attendees that have registered for in-person attendance and request to switch to virtual attendance will not be refunded the difference in price due to on-site arrangement already being made
