The 2024 Annual Drainage Research Forum will be held September 5th from 9:00am to 3:45pm. The event is jointly sponsored by the University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, and South Dakota State University. The conference will highlight projects supported by the Iowa Nutrient Research Center.

The program will consist of presentations of results and updates of drainage research projects and related issues from university and agency researchers, and other stakeholders from Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota. There will be a mini-symposium on a regional Conservation Innovation Project looking at saturated buffers and bioreactors, a mini-symposium on drainage water recycling, and updates on state science assessment. The final agenda is being developed and will be available soon.

The program is intended for all drainage stakeholders, including state and federal agency staff, county supervisors, crop consultants, academics, contractors, farmers, and others interested in drainage issues and research topics in the upper Midwest.

Agendas will be available to download ahead of the conference.
