Combine University

Combine University is a premier, high-impact educational experience modeled after the success of Planter University to prepare operators for the technical demands of the upcoming season. This program provides expert insights into yield monitor calibration, sensor technology, and the critical relationship between grain flow and data accuracy. We use interactive stands to demonstrate practical machine settings and material flow fundamentals, focusing on how header adjustments and threshing configurations directly influence yield readings and grain quality.

The curriculum covers essential maintenance protocols for clean grain elevators, feeder house chains, and headers to prevent mid-season downtime. We also analyze specialized harvest scenarios, including green soybean management and residue distribution, while highlighting the long-term impact of uniform spreading on next year’s crop performance. Participants walk through precise grain loss check procedures using industry-standard mobile apps and drop-pan methods to differentiate between header and threshing losses. This event is designed to help everyone navigate common harvest pinch points and optimize in-cab technology, ensuring maximum field efficiency and confidence in the weeks following the program.
