CAN Bus networks are the foundation of advanced on and off-road vehicle systems.  This one-day course will provide a foundation to CAN Bus and J1939 applications in mobile vehicles.  Topics include digital communication principles, network architecture designs, digital data types, CAN message packeting, bus load management, basic J1939 implementation, and multiplexing.  Practical examples will be emphasized throughout the one-day course.

Lunch will be provided.

If you need to cancel your registration for the event, cancellations must be submitted in writing to Registration Services at registrations@iastate.edu. You must cancel your reservation at least one week prior to your session to receive a refund less a $25 cancellation fee.  Refunds will not be granted to any cancellation made within a week of the session. Substitution is available at no charge.
