During this workshop, supervisors of student employees will learn about how the Cardinal Connections program and micro-credentials apply to student employment within the division. Supervisors will apply the DSA Student Learning Framework to their student jobs and gain strategies to use with their employees to help boost student learning.

This session will explore how faculty and staff can use student health and wellness data to support student success. Participants will learn about what data exists, when and how to use it responsibly, and how to turn ‘what we know’ into actionable programs, policies, and communications. An interactive activity using a flawed dataset will help attendees identify limitations and practice a simple framework for moving from insights to implementation. Everyone will leave with the foundation of a data‑informed program idea and measurable outcomes to guide next steps.

This session explores how our office has used data to streamline processes and improve the experience for students and campus partners. We’ll share what’s worked (and what hasn’t), how we’ve refined our workflows, and ways data has helped us make informed decisions. Whether you’re looking for simple efficiency tips or new ideas for using data in your work, you’ll leave with practical takeaways to apply in your own office.

Cyclone Support Central forged a trusted partnership and built a foundation of data-informed communication and outreach to support an innovative culture of care to help all students flourish. In this session you’ll learn how to effectively target your audiences with data-informed messaging and gain understanding on how to develop effective partnerships that advance shared goals.

A panel of five Assessment Academy participants will discuss their experience with the professional development course, including the highs, lows, and what they learned. If you are interested in earning a micro-credential in program and service assessment, come hear about this opportunity. The application window for next year’s academy will be opening soon!

How are we reporting data in the new era? What has changed with Workday? Where can I go to get answers? With the change to the Workday system, the roadmap to finding the data you need has felt more like a quest for buried treasure than an easy-to-follow GPS. The DataMart is here to help you find your way to the student data you need. But what is the DataMart? What is all included? And how do I access it? Join this Breakout session to take a deep dive into all things DataMart, including how the data is sourced, what data reports are currently available via Power BI, and how to navigate these Power BI dashboards.

For programs designed to support their academic growth and long‑term success, the challenge isn’t just offering great services, it’s making sure students feel motivated, included, and excited to participate. This breakout session explores how the TRIO Talent Search and Upward Bound programs use practical strategies for increasing student engagement in services that benefit them.

With restrictions being placed on Qualtrics, Microsoft Forms is being utilized more often. However, it is not always clear how to make this tool work the way it needs to. This workshop will provide attendees with the ins and outs of Microsoft Forms, including how to automate certain functions and embed forms to make your life easier.
