Brent Meyer, D.V.M., M.S., beef technical services, for Merck Animal Health will share how new technology and pharmaceutical solutions are helping livestock producers advance their operations. Learn about the impact of these tools on animal care and sustainability. Merck Animal Health produces pharmaceuticals for beef, dairy, equine, swine, goats, poultry, fish, cats and dogs.
Meyer has been with Merck Animal Health since 2012 specializing in feedlot and cow/calf production medicine in the upper Midwest. Meyer has more than 12 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian in Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota. He also served as a feedyard consultant in eastern Nebraska and an adjunct instructor for the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Meyer earned his undergraduate degree in animal science, doctorate of veterinary medicine and master’s degree in beef-production medicine from Iowa State University.
